Structured Cabling Installation

The project is to deliver 2 separate networks in one data cabinet. The first network is the corporate network and the second network is a WiFi cloud with roaming between access points. This installation configuration will suit clients in the Hotel and care home environments with one closed corporate network and one open WiFi network for public or private use.

A 9u Data Cabinet is installed to accommodate the equipment. the cabinet installed contains;

• 1u brush management bar, 
• 1u 24 port patch panel, 
• 1u ring management bar, 
• 1u Allied Telesis AT-8000s POE, 
• 1u AT-FS708, 
• 1u Vented Shelf 
• 1u 6 way PDU. 

The 2 networks can be identified by different colour patch leads; 
Grey Patch cords for the Corporate Network and Orange Patch leads for the WiFi Network.

The WiFi Network is deployed using the Ubiquiti Unifi system, there are 5 Access Point to create a cloud network which will enable wireless roaming between the access points.
